Join us to continue planning the 2018 International Women’s Strike Pittsburgh/Paro Internacional de Mujeres in Pittsburgh, we’ll be meeting at the Thomas Merton Center on Monday, March 5 at 7 PM for our final planning session! RSVP on Facebook or email pgh.iws@gmail.com for additional information or to arrange childcare. Please notify us if any additional accommodations can be arranged.

This year, the Pittsburgh International Women’s Strike Coalition is proud to work alongside the Women’s Law Project to highlight the urgent need for paid sick leave, especially among women who work low-wage jobs, women of color, queer and trans women, parents, caregivers, disabled people, and victims of domestic abuse. The Paid Sick Days Act will be reviewed by the PA Supreme Court later this year.
